Counselling and Play Therapy for Children, Teens, and Adults

Trauma-informed, attachment-based support for emotional growth, healing, and understanding.

Welcome

I believe that healing happens in relationships that feel safe, respectful, and attuned. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of emotions, and reconnect with parts of ourselves that may have learned to protect, hide, or carry too much.

For some people, therapy looks like conversation and reflection. For others, it looks like play, creativity, or imagination. There is more than one way to begin.

How Therapy Can Look

My work is trauma-informed and attachment-based, and sessions are adapted to each person’s needs, comfort level, and goals.

Not all therapy is done through play. While play therapy is one of my areas of specialization, many clients prefer a more traditional talk-based approach. Both are valid, and therapy is shaped collaboratively.

When working with children, play often becomes a natural language for expression and understanding. Through play, children can explore emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be difficult to put into words.

Octavius the Otter represents curiosity, emotional understanding, and safety. He offers children a gentle, familiar way to explore big feelings without pressure. Octavius does not replace therapy; he supports the process by helping children feel less alone as they learn to understand their inner world.

Working with Children

Who this is for?

I work with children, adolescents, and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, or relationship challenges.
